This idea was born out of
lonely long hours. One day, some of us started thinking we should
meet up to talk about research and life. And this is basically how
this started. We set up that we would choose a text and discuss it in
each meeting.
The 'T' in Theatre comes
from the fact that we are all devoting or have devoted our PhD thesis
to theatre. The 'T' in Theory comes from, to put it bluntly and
perhaps narrowly, a need to find ways to articulate the complexities
of the contemporary world. The 'T' in Therapy comes before, and
after, and in-between.
Our criteria to choose
texts is that we have no specific criteria, other than suggest
something we're working with and we would like to discuss.
From this seminar
experience comes the realization that academic life should be based
first and foremost on sharing: knowledge, experiences, happiness and
pain.
Some of us will leave,
some of us will stay. This should definitively stay.
